Gender Pay Gap Report

The automotive industry is traditionally male dominated and at The Car people we’re committed to redressing the gender imbalance within our organisation. The Car People are fully supporting the government’s decision to require employers such as ourselves to publish gender pay gap statistics.

Our aims are to:

  • Challenge traditional perceptions of roles within the automotive industry.
  • Attract more female employees to our business and encourage them to build a career with us.
  • Promote a diverse workforce and ensure all colleagues have the ability to be treated equally.
  • Ensure all colleagues have equal opportunities in selection, promotion, transfer, development, reviews, training, coaching and benefits. 
  • Promote flexible working and examine any barriers to flexible working, encouraging open attitudes towards job sharing, part-time contracts and flexible hours.
