Why buy a Toyota Auris?

Toyotas are famous for their reliability and the Auris is no exception. From new, they come with 5 years manufacturer’s warranty, which gives you peace of mind if you plan on keeping your car for the long run. They have good specifications for the money you pay and the hybrid option is ideal if you encounter a lot of stop-start traffic, achieving up to 72mpg combined, which rivals that of diesel engines. If you need extra space, an estate version is also available called Touring Sports.

There are a wide range of options available for the Auris. Climate control is standard across the range but, if you want more features, you need to look at higher spec models like the Icon, which comes with touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity and DAB radio, reversing camera and electric windows all around. Even higher spec models come with sat-nav, heated seats and cruise control. A range of engines is available, both petrol and diesel, as well as Toyota's hybrid engine that was made famous with the Prius.

The Civic has been through numerous generational changes; the latest models – specifically the Civic Type R, Civic SE, and Civic i-DTEC – becoming more spacious, upmarket and better known for performance.

Available in a variety of packages, from fuel savers to power trips, the Focus range is one of immense choice. As a popular car from new, you’re likely to find a greater number of Focuses on the used market too.

With prices starting at around the £5,000 mark and extending to £20,000, it’s very competitively priced and you’re even able to afford a Focus estate – rather than the hatchback version – for that top-end price.
