1. Relax. No salespeople are going to hassle you. There will be no hard sell. In fact, we promise no member of our sales team will approach you without being asked.
2. Look around. Feel free to wander around. Although 750 cars might seem like a lot, they’re all laid out in logical sections that are easy to browse. You can even drop in at our café for a pit stop halfway if you like.
3. Just ask. Don’t you just hate being ignored when you need assistance? It doesn’t happen at The Car People. All you have to do is ask. Our well-trained sales advisors will be more than happy to help. They won’t shrug, waffle or guess the answers to your questions. Better still, they speak in jargon-free.
4. Go for a spin. We positively encourage you to test-drive our cars on the open road. If anything takes your fancy, you can take it out there and then, no appointment necessary. For safety reasons, we simply ask that you follow our test route.
5. Show us your old car. We’ll look at the year and condition of your old car, get our underwriters to tell us the current market value, and that’s what we’ll give you. No wheeling and dealing.
6. Talk business. A seat, a coffee, and a chat about your budget and how you want to finance your new car. Our advisors will talk you through all the options to see exactly what’s right for you. With no hidden agenda.
7. Shake on it. Only when you’re completely happy with every aspect of your purchase will we finalise the deal. We’ll take you through all the paperwork step by step, then make a handover appointment for you to collect your car.
