Sales Advisor

Location: Sheffield

Due to continued growth we are looking to increase our already very successful sales team. We are looking for either people with motor trade sales experience that have first rate customer service skills or someone who has at least 2 years face to face customer sales experience in a retail environment.

The ideal person is customer focussed, highly motivated and enthusiastic, with a real passion to deliver the very best customer experience. You will ideally be a good learner, with smart appearance and have a real desire to help customers by understanding their needs.

In return we offer 2 days off during the week, a basic wage of between £12,500 and £17,500 with earnings in region of £28,000 to £35,000. Additionally our in house training programmes will help you develop your knowledge & skills.

Group Customer Services Manager

Location: Sheffield

As part of our continued growth, we now have a brand new role for a Group Customer Services Manager.

We’re looking for a successful customer services manager with a proven track record of delivering world class customer service.You’ll have responsibility for managing, developing and growing a team delivering assistance to our customers over telephone, email & web chat.

The ability to direct and motivate a team is essential, and the ideal candidate will understand good reporting principles, be able to communicate on a Senior Management Level and have the ability to help design and implement new procedures, as we advance our Customer Loyalty and Relationship Management Programs. Motor Vehicle technician

Location: Wakefield

The Car People believe in offering a first class service to everyone of our customers, therefore we need people who will help us to continue adding strength to our business through exceptional customer focus and in return we offer a great working environment with a forward thinking company.

We are currently looking to recruit an additional member to join our long running and very successful service team. As you would expect from a large volume supermarket you will be required to work on all makes and models independently and efficiently to a very high standard.

The candidate must be an experienced motor vehicle technician, ideally from a Franchised or a volume independent background. You will need a full UK driving licence, a good understanding of diagnostics or an MOT tester would be an advantage.

Basic salary of £20,261 per annum plus an attractive bonus package of up to £458.33 per month, which is more than achievable every month due to the volumes we work with. We operate a shift system of four on four off, working 6am until 6pm.

Customer Services Advisor

Location: Wakefield

We are currently looking for a face to face customer service advisor to work in our very successful customer services team by supporting our customers whether they want to book in for a service, need help with a issues or problems or just need our support with the vehicle they have purchased.

As with their purchase experience we want to make the whole process as ‘Hassle-Free’ as possible from start to finish. Therefore it is important we find a strong minded person that thrives on working with customers over the phone and face to face, who are able to work on their own initiative when needed with a real focus on delivering first class support for all our customers.

We are looking for someone who has been in a similar customer facing role for at least 12 months with real drive, a positive and friendly approach having been use to dealing with all types of queries and complaints and has a genuine passion to deliver great levels of service even when faced with delivering bad news. You’ll need to have great organisation skills with an excellent telephone manor, as well have a good understanding of computer systems and a clean driving license.

The role involves working five and half days, Monday-Friday 8.30-6pm and Saturday until 1pm with a salary of up to £17,500 PA based on experience, 28 days holiday and a contributory Pension scheme after a qualifying period dependant on age.

Group Sales Trainer

At The Car People we have a successful and highly respected car supermarket group based on delivering first class customer service. As part of our continued growth, we now have a brand new role for a Group Sales Trainer.

We’re looking for a successful Sales Trainer with a proven track record of delivering motivational sales training. You’ll have responsibility for helping to improve individual, site and group KPI’s as well as and most importantly ensuring the team deliver world class customer service.

The ideal candidate will be confident in group situations, adaptable and have the ability to deal with challenging members of the team. Motor trade experience is preferred, but not essential, however training experience is vital.

The role is full time, based mainly at our Wakefield location. The rota will be Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm. The salary will be £30,000 plus any travel expenses incurred visiting other sites.

Social Media & Content Executive

We’re looking for a social media executive to run our accounts and work with our brand agency to provide fun & informative content for our social channels. The role is full time, working Monday to Friday, based at our Wakefield location. There may be a need to travel around the group, so a clean driving license will be essential. Key skills include:

• A passion to create interesting consumer biased content

• Good understanding of social media & operating a corporate account

• The ability to write interesting stories & articles about our vehicles, our team & our customers

• Creation of quality video content (shoot footage, edit & voice over) You will be supported by our senior management team & assisted by our brand agency. An interest in cars is helpful but not essential.
