Sales Advisor

Location: Sheffield

Due to continued growth we are looking to increase our already very successful sales team. We are looking for either people with motor trade sales experience that have first rate customer service skills or someone who has at least 2 years face to face customer sales experience in a retail environment.

The ideal person is customer focused, highly motivated and enthusiastic, with a real passion to deliver the very best customer experience. You will ideally be a good learner, with smart appearance and have a real desire to help customers by understanding their needs.

In return we offer 2 days off during the week, a basic wage of between £12,500 and £17,500 with earnings in region of £28,000 to £35,000. Additionally our in house training programs will help you develop your knowledge & skills.

Handover Advisor

Location: Manchester

The Car People believe in retailing cars by offering our customers the very highest level of service from the moment they contact us right the way through to the collection of their new vehicle.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic person to join our Handover Team.

The right individual will be expected to offer very clear explanations of the new vehicle controls and all relevant paperwork including finance agreements in line with today’s strict financial legislation, therefore you will need the ability to learn and retain important information so that you only give accurate and relevant advice.

The role would best suit someone who is currently working in a face to face customer environment with a very approachable personality and have a real interest in delivering Great customer service and be a fast learner with the ability to retain important information. Reliability and time keeping will also play a large part in choosing the right person for this role.

The working hours are based on 46 hours over a 5 day week but will include Saturdays and cover until 8pm on some evenings. We offer a realistic OTE of £18-20k based on a basic salary of £15,500 + Commission which is un-capped, a full clean UK driving licence is essential.

Telephone-Based Sales Advisor

Location: Sheffield

We are currently looking to add to our Telephone Based Sale Team an individual to deal with our sales enquiries.

The ideal candidate must have sales experience, excellent people skills and desire to exceed our customer expectations.

The person must be highly motivated and be able to thrive in a busy selling environment. Have an excellent phone manor, typing skills and have the ability to use good grammar and spelling. You will need to be a fast learner, smart in appearance and have the ability to advise our customers on vehicles that best suit their needs, “not ours”.

In return we offer a great working environment, Basic salary of £14,000 per annum plus £3,000 quality Bonus plus commission with an OTE of £30,000 per annum. The rota is a 5 day week and will include Saturday and Sunday. There will be an excellent ongoing training programmes designed to motivate and better the individual.

Workshop Administrator

Location: Wakefield

Full Time position for Workshop Administrator average 47hrs per week

Due to the continued growth of our busy workshop a new position has become available for a workshop Administrator.

To provide administrative assistance in the workshop of our busy used car centre.

Duties will include

- Keeping the In house payroll system up to date & inputting holidays

- Booking cars in at the dealers when warranty work is required

- Logging cars onto the Auto check system & processing them

- Matching & processing invoices, Obtain and update order numbers

- Inputting updated information on to a database

- To encompass a supportive role for the Workshop Manager & supervisors

- To maintain workshop work in progress to agreed levels throughout the month

- To have good Organization and administrative skills

- Excellent communication & computer skills

- The ability to prioritize workload and escalate issues where necessary

Salary will be £17,400 per year, Working hours will be Mon-Fri 08:00-17:00 & every second Saturday morning 08:00-12:00
